Anratu Reports Documentation

Anratu Reports produces reports intendent to facilitate sales monitoring on a day-to-day basis. Each report reflects a particular aspect of business according to criteria selected by the user.

The software provides two main perspectives: sales and customers. Sales perspective offers information about operations taking place in a specified period while Customers perspective produces information about operations aggregated by particular customer.

Installation

System Requirements

  • Magento Community Edition – versions: 1.6.x, 1.7.x, 1.8.x, 1.9.x
  • Latest version of Chrome, Firefox or Opera and also Internet Explorer 9 and newer version are supported

To install Anratu Reports:

  1. Log into store Admin.
  2. On the Admin menu, select System > Magento Connect > Magento Connect Manager.
  3. When prompted, enter your Admin User Name and Password. Then, click the Log In button.
  4. Select Create Backup checkbox and select the backup type.
  5. Select Upload package file and indicate Anratu Reports file.
  6. Press Upload button and wait for installation completion.

Configuration

Anratu Reports usually runs with default settings. However, it is possible to change some parameters if needed.

To fully benefit from the reports you need to configure the cost of products - the cost product attribute.

Configuration page

To change Anratu Reports configuration:

  1. Log into store Admin
  2. On the Admin menu, select System > Configuration.
  3. On the tab list column select Anratu Reports > General Options.
  4. Change selected values.

Reports parameters

Most Valuable Customers Last order range Number of days within a range. The range is a specified period in which the customer placed their last order. 30 days

New vs Returning Customers Returning customer threshold Minimum number of orders placed qualifying the customer as returning customer. 2

To change access control list configuration:

  1. Log into store Admin
  2. On the Admin menu, select System > Permissions > Roles.
  3. Select Role.
  4. Select Role Resources.
  5. Mark selected permissions.
  6. Press Save Role button.

User interface

All reports created in Anratu Reports feature mechanisms described below.

Standard interface

To sort data:

  1. Click column header.
  2. Wait for page to refresh.

To filter data:

  1. Input From and/or To values.
  2. Click Search button.
  3. Wait for page to refresh.

To save chart as image:

  1. Click the Save chart as image in the top-right corner of the chart.
  2. Save the download file.

To save chart as image in Internet Explorer right click on the graph and select Save image as option.

To customize columns:

  1. Press Customize columns button.
  2. Check columns selected for display.
  3. Drag and drop columns to change their order.
  4. Save configuration
    1. Save as default – for all users.
    2. Save – for current session only (until Log out)

  1. Set the Export to control to one of the following:
    • PDF
    • CSV
    • Excel XML
  2. Click the Export button.
Example PDF report

PDF reports exported by Internet Explorer do not include charts. To export PDF report with chart use another web browser.

Anratu Reports reports provide various perspectives on sales results. Thanks to this store managers obtain valuable feedback on their products and enhance the decision-making process.

Most Valuable Customers

This report shows customers segmented into groups according to:

  • last order date - date when customer placed their last order
  • lifetime spendings - customer lifetime expenditure

Each customer is thus assigned to a specified segment considering their shopping behavior.

This report allows to drill-down into a particular segment to display the list of customers.
